Campaign Story

My sister and future brother in law are excited to start their family but first they need to over come some obstacles. My sister is not only struggling with infertility issues but on top of that has a heart condition that required her to get a defibrillator and that has a 50% chance of being passed on to future children. They have decided to pursue IVF because it will allow them to make sure the children are not going to be affected by the condition that would put them at risk of sudden cardiac arrest. My sister has gone through so much herself and she would not want to see any of her children struggle with the things she had to go through. If you did not know most insurance companies do not cover IVF and the ones that do cover a small portion and it does not come close to the total amount that IVF costs. They have already spent thirty thousand dollars on fertility treatment and that is before any transfers. I would like to help raise a little for them to help off set some of the costs.
